Nigeria Union of journalists (NUJ), Osun state council will on Thursday September 3, 2020 hold a virtual training for its members.
A statement by the Acting chairman of the union, Comrade Wasiu Ajadosu and the secretary, comrade Bukola Elufadejin said a political communication strategist, Doctor Festus Adedayo and media strategist, Mr Suleiman Aledeh would be the guest speakers at the workshop with the theme “journalism under siege in the Nigeria,the urgency and justification for media activism”
The statement enjoined members of the union and the public to join the training which would hold between 12noon to 1pm.
It noted that the training is aimed at equipping the professionals with relevant skills on how to perform their duties in the face of provocation.
The statement maintained that the training became imperative especially in line with the recent happenings between chief Femi Fani kayode and daily trust correspondent in cross Rivers state, Mr Charles Eyo
